WOW!!! It makes him look ten years younger!!! What was the motivation?? A challenge, lost bet, feeling a midlife crisis coming on? It looks good!! Way to go Slade!
Actually, I mentioned his "thinning" to outr hairdresser who immediately came back with, "I know he's thinning. This is how I would cut his hair. . ." (Can I just say how much I LOVE her!! She knows the differences between my sister's hair and mine, has a plan for Slade before even we did. She is SOOOO skilled!)
So, when Slade went in for his cut I said in passing, "Tell him about your idea." Barb did and then asked if she could cut it shorter. That's what he ended up with. I am not sure if he's thrilled about it, but I tell him every day how nice it looks! He's just afraid it makes him look preppy. But after a decade of long hair, it probably does look a little on the preppy side. But nothing that can't be adjusted to.

It's a good look for him! I vote for Han Solo.
And is preppy so bad? I think the 80's--in all their glory--are making a comeback after all.
