Kennah has had a wonderful time playing baseball this spring. The game has improved exponentially from last year. (OTHER than the fact there has only been ONE partially warm day as a spectator---BRRR. The wimpy mom freely admits her bias!) This year they played counting outs and runs and following other rules I never knew existed.
She definitely holds her own being the only girl on an otherwise all boy team. She's caught a pop fly (and earned an ice cream from her daddy), cracked the ball into outfield, caught the ball at shortstop and thrown it to 1st in time to get the runner out, talked smack with the other team (all in fun and then ended up getting hurt on the play) and led many a cheer for her teammates. What a very fun year! What a fun girl!
